Accelerate Indiana provides for two discharge options:
Death Discharge – In the event of death and upon receipt of acceptable documentation thereof, such as a certified copy of Certified Death Certificate or copy of Certificate of Appointment of the Estate stamped and certified by applicable court.
Total and Permanent Disability Discharge – In the event you are permanently disabled as certified by a physician and unable to work in any occupation due to a permanent mental or physical condition that began or deteriorated after the begin date of your approved program and is expected to last not less than 60 months or may be expected to result in death.
The Accelerate Indiana program is not a federal program and does not qualify for federal student loan discharge of forgiveness programs.
